This Privacy Policy explains how eezyclaim (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile and web application for insurance claim assistance.
1. Information we collect
- Phone number — used to send a one-time password (OTP) and sign you in.
- Account / profile details — such as name, email, and other details you provide during registration or claim filing.
- Claim-related documents and data — information and files you upload to submit or manage a claim.
- Device and usage data — basic technical logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the service (for example app version, error logs).
2. How we use your information
- Authenticate you via phone OTP (Firebase Authentication).
- Create and manage your customer or vendor account.
- Process insurance claims and related workflows.
- Provide customer support and important service notices.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Phone authentication
When you sign in with your phone number, we use Google Firebase Authentication to verify your number by SMS OTP. Your phone number is processed by Firebase/Google for authentication purposes under their terms and privacy policy, in addition to this policy.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only with:
- Service providers that help us run the app (for example Firebase/Google for authentication, hosting, and related infrastructure).
- Insurance / TPA partners when required to process a claim you initiate.
- Authorities when required by law.
5. Data retention
We retain account and claim information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or regulatory requirements, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us using the email below.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
- You may choose not to provide certain information, but some features (including login) may not work.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
8. Children’s privacy
eezyclaim is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised policy.
